He is doing good :-)

I thought this had posted but now it is not showing up. So sorry, but Kyle is doing great. Kyle's surgeon was very happy with how it went.
We got to snuggle while he woke up from analgesia.
On the way home, he was all excited to be back in the truck :-)
Happy to be hanging out with Daddy and Mommy
Now is the hard part of keeping him calm and letting things heal. But he is doing great! Thanks for the prayers we are glad to have that done.

Last night they bumped Kyle up to the first appt. for his surgery
First we got to play for a while
Then we got to change into hospital clothes
Snuggling with Daddy

I got to go back to the OR with him and stay till he was asleep. It should be an hour or two and we will see him in the recovery room.

When it rains it pours

Sorry I have not posted pictures of all the birthday fun we had on Thursday with Lucy, I will try and do that soon.
Thursday Josh also had a recheck with his eye doctor, when we saw him 3 months ago he put Josh in glasses to see if that could help correct his eye that was drifting. But told me that we may need to look at surgery again if the glasses did not correct it. Well Thursday we found that that Josh will need eye surgery again, it is scheduled for the later part of June.
Kyle is having surgery this Thursday morning to correct his hydrocele, he will have inginal hernia repairs on both sides. We are not sure of the time yet but we are hoping it is early morning, it is out patient.
Getting measured at the surgens office.
Last week Wade re enlisted for another 3 years in the Coast Guard.
Thursday night we found baby bunnies in our yard while Wade was mowing the grass.
Their eyes were not even open, but we settled them back in their burrow and their mama did come back, they have been fun to watch.

Friday morning Lucy had her 5 year and Kyle had his 2 year well child check.

Everyone is growing and looking good.
Josh and Delaney both had soccer games Saturday.
They were very excited to have Nanny and Papa at their game, they flew into Cleveland about 12:30am on Saturday.

Monday night we had thunderstorms that turned into tornado warnings so Mom and Dad had the pleasure of experiencing Ohio tornado warnings in our basement, then our basement flooded durning the flash flood warnings. Now we are waiting for roofers to come help tarp our roof because we have water leaking in our bathroom/bedroom/hallway roof upstairs. Oh the joys of homeownership :-)
The good news we have is Kyle's garments that we have been waiting on for MONTHS are in and we get to go pick them up tomorrow!
We have been keeping him wrapped all day and night to help decrease his swelling so he will fit in his new garments, we will post pictures soon.

Busy busy

Yesterday my 2 big kids and I went on a field trip to the Duck tape factory.

It was pretty fun
This is a big roll of Duck tape that has macaroni and cheese print on it, it still needs to be cut down and rolled on smaller rolls. It was neat learning the history of Duck tape.
These are outfits made of duck tape. We also got to do a little crafting with duck tape at the end of the tour. The kids are hooked, they loved the crafting part.
That night Josh had soccer practice, Kyle enjoyed pointing things out to me in the sky.
This is my silly boy relaxing in the morning, he set this up on his own, he cracks me up.
Today we got to meet Kyle's surgen. He will have surgery in the next week or two to correct his hernias, that he has had since birth. We will hopefully have a date by Friday.
This afternoon the city was tearing a house down by us, so we walked down to watch
Kyle was totally interested and loved watching the tractors working
It was amazing how quick it was all torn down.

Tonight Wade, Josh and Delaney got to go to an Indains game. One of the auxiliary members at the station gave Wade the tickets. She has season tickets but can not always go to the games.
They had "ok" seats 😉
Wade said Delaney enjoyed the hot dogs
After I got Kyle to bed Lucy and I made cake and cookies
Then we did facials
And had a little spa time with my almost 5 year old!
Lucy painted my nails
Happy times :-)
GO TRIBE!!!!!
