Today was infusion day for Kyle and we found out he has another (or possibly the same one) ear infection.

The garden has been busy!!

So i have a little tomato suace going on the stove tonight and will make yummy pasta suace this winter

Our tomatoes have gone crazy this year, we have lots of suace in the freezer and have been enjoying lots of salsa! The boys have also been enjoying hamburger sized tomato slices on hamburgers and sandwiches.

Last week we went downtown for some appts and did a little exploring

Summer rain

This afternoon we had a pretty good thunderstorm and it knocked the power out.

So first we painted for a bit

 

A little wall art for the school room, then 

I made dinner on the BBQ (glad it has a burner) and then we made preparations for bed before it got dark. 

Luckily the computer had battery so we watched a movie on it during wrapping time. 

Then off to bed. 

Summer reading program

Saturday the kids and I went to a program at the library for the end of the summer reading program.

Exploring

Last Saturday we went to Peru Indiana to pick up the girls from a week of cousin time. This town is where all the big circuses in the 30's and beyond would winter. It was an interesting town
