We are home
Kyle is sore and a little sleepy but we made it home. He is happy to have his "people". They are all having fun playing hospital. Thank you Nanny and Papa from Kyle (and the other 3 too!!)
Recovering
Kyle is out. There was a little bit of a scare during the procedure but it turned out to be nothing but that's what caused it to take a little longer than planned. We are so thankful to God for the Cleveland Clinic. They had GI and Heart specialist here with in minutes to help figure out what was going on.
He is still groggy but awake enough to have a Popsicle and watch TV. We hope to be heading back up to our room in the next 30 mins or so. Thank you all for your prayers this morning.

We got checked into Kyle's room and the doctors have been in to see him. The plan is to put his port in tonight and hopefully go home tomorrow. We will keep you updated.

So here is what we know
So we have been told that Kyle will be admitted to the hospital at some point tomorrow (waiting on bed availability) then they are hoping tomorrow or at the latest Thursday am he will go to surgery and have a port placed. Then he will get the infusions that he has needed. So we wait for the call. Please pray that it will all be done with the right timing and that it will be a good port that will last and help
Kyle not have to get all the sticks that he has been getting (11 pokes in the last week) Also for Wade and I for patience thru this process and for strength to keep holding down everything that we have going on with and life.

Update
After 10 IV attempts Kyle still is with out an IV so we are waiting for the meds that they gave him to calm him down to wear off and then we will be heading home and meeting with his GI Doctor next week to come up with another plan. Please pray for wisdom for Wade and I and his doctors in the decisions that will need to be made.
Right now he is feeling pretty good, eating some chocolate pudding

Please pray
This afternoon I got a call from one of Kyle's doctors that his albuim levels were a little low (he had blood work at an appt. yesterday). She consulted his GI and that Doctor call me and told me to take Kyle downtown to get infusions overnight. So I packed up all 4 kids and called Wade to let him know what was going on and we headed to the hospital. Wade was able to get a stand by at work and come get the 3 big kids from the hospital late this evening and take them home for the night, which is a blessing. Delaney is having some back pain and hopefully Wade or I can get her to a doctor tomorrow. Pray she can sleep well and we figure out what is causing her pain. Also Kyle needs prayer. They have tried 6 times to get an IV in him and were unsuccessful. He got so upset after the last time that he puked all over both of us. He is bathed and sleeping and we are going to wait a few hours (morning) to try again, please pray that God brings us the right person who can get it in ,in one poke, my poor baby just needs it in one poke so he can get what he needs and we can go home. Thank you for praying

We had such a nice December with weather, but the cold has come (it is still not too bad, just low 30's).
We even got a little snow yesterday.
