Friday night at the Heath house

When your life resembles a country song....

So Wade spent the weekend trying to get his truck running, but things did not go as planned, so the truck is in the garage in a lot of pieces and hopefully when he gets off duty he can work on it some more. 

The hardest part of our week came Monday afternoon when I got a call from the vet. The kids and I had dropped Kinley off in the morning for her X-ray. The vet called to tell me the reason Kinley has been limping on her leg is because she has bone cancer that they think has metastasized to her lungs. He told me that we can keep her comfortable with pain medicine, but we really don't have much else. He said that he hopes she can make it thru the holidays for the kids. That was hard to hear. We have had Kinley since she was 6 weeks old, she has moved with us 8 times in her 12 years, she has been a constant companion, faithful and sweet. 

Now she is being really spoiled

Today at coop we finished our "body" project 

We will keep you updated on Kinley, right now we are just enjoying our time with her and working through this with the kids. 

Friday Night

For Friday night fun I will empty the camera for your viewing. In October we went to a local apple farm and played for the day, they had a corn maze and peddle cars and we got to pick apples. It was sunny and beautiful and we had a good time.

 In October we also celebrated Kinley's 12th Birthday

Our old Brown dog is having a hard winter, when it got cold she started having lots of mobility problems, we took her to the vet today and they gave us some stronger pain medicine and we take her back on Monday for an x-ray that she will need to be sedated for. We will keep you updated. 

 

 



Snow

Yesterday brought the first snow of the season. The kids are very excited!!'

This was last night when we got home

They started running around like crazy people!! They were out building snowmen today and playing in the yard. 

It has been snowing most of the day and the forcast said it will continue into the night.  Burrrrr!!!!

Here is an update on house projects...

The Sheetrock is up in the bathroom and bedroom and the painting has began, Wade put the new floor in last week, it is slow going with just the two of us ( and Kyle, he is tons of help :-) but we are getting there. Hopefully we will get to run the furnace soon!!!

Haircuts!

Tonight I finally got around to giving the boys haircuts. They were much over do!

Thursday night fun

Last night we went to target and they had Halloween stuff 90% off, there was not much, but there was dog costumes that came out to 69 cents.  Sooooo we picked up a few and went home and played dress up. 

Scuttle was not that happy about being a pumpkin. 

It was a lot of fun!! All three have matching shirts!!

This was Kyle's hour out of his wraps, you can pray for him and us with this, we are doing another intensive wrapping time to try and get his hands down more for new garments, it is really hard for him to not have his hands as mobile.

Batman!!!

So I am a little behind but here is Kyle on Halloween, he really got into being "Batman" and going door to door and getting candy!!!

Saturday Photo dump

This summer was little crazy for Heath house, but that is a really long story that if you have kept up with the blog you have seen "tid bits" of, to get the whole story you will have to come over for dinner some night.
But in the mist of the craziness I got 400 pictures on my camera before it was ever down loaded AHHHH! This is not normal for me, but between computers dying and other things falling apart it happen. So I thought I would give you "2 followers" (insert wink) a glimpse of summer in Ohio.
