Cicadas

While in a new home we love to look for new things. This year we learned about Cicadas, these interesting little creatures only emerge every 17 years to mate and then dig back into the ground and die and in 17 more years their babies start the cycle over. 

When we started our walk we had trouble finding them

Then we figured out they were everywhere

We are very excited about the CAVS win last night, Ohio has a very dedicated fan base. 

Last week we had VBS at our church, I helped in crafts, I dyed 28 boxes of noodles for necklaces 

The kids had lots of fun. Here is Kyle relaxing at the end. 

Weekend before last Josh got to take a kayaking class through our city parks and recreation, he had a great time and hopes to do it again soon

This is when they were learning about boating safety. 

We have been enjoying the city pool when we can. 

Kyle has been up and down on his health, today was a down day. He slept a lot and we had a trip downtown to the doctor. He is feeling a little better and we will be taking it easy and letting him rest. 

He likes to sleep in the weirdest ways. 

Yesterday we celebrated Wade and the amazing Daddy that he is, we recreated a picture from 4 years ago, our kids grew a little bit!

And that is what we have been up too!
