We are home

Kyle was discharged from the ER tonight. We are home and he is resting. Thanks for the prayers. Praying for a fast recovery and that no one else gets sick.

Sorry this never published last night :-) today was a sick at home day. Wade is on the upswing which is good because I got knocked down by it today. 

Mornings in the ER

We have had a bug going thru our house, Wade had been sick the last few days and this morning Josh and Kyle came down with it. With Kyle that meant a morning of calling doctors and then heading to the ER. He has had blood work, chest X-Ray and some other tests to rule out things. Now he is enjoying a Popsicle and watching a little tv while napping at times while we wait for lab work   

Please pray we figure out how best to assist kyle's body while he fights this bug and also for Wade who is home with the other 3. He is barley over this himself and still not feeling that great. I will update you when I can.

Valentine's Night we took the kids to Monster Jam downtown. We had lots of fun!!

Over all it is not what I expected but we all had a really fun time!!

Birthday fun!!

Today we celebrated Delaney!!!

We stated with homemade chocolate doughnut holes per the birthday girls request.  Then when Wade got home from work we took the kids ice skating for the first time. 

Delaney took off, she did amazing for her first time!!

Yesterday morning we took advantage of the snow and 20 degree weather and went sledding

Today we we stayed indoors (it was in the single Digits and teens) and were invited to swim with friends at a hotel pool

Our family is slowly recouping. Kyle is doing great, we are still keeping him mostly home and trying to get him to take it easy. His soreness in his arm and chest are gone so we are glad that he is not having much discomfort. Now we get to keep explaining to him about the port. He is not super excited about having it. But for the most part he is back to " normal Kyle".

  The rabbit is terribly traumatized 

And just because we were board. We even had the power company swing by at 1:00 in the morning to fix the problem with the power that made half the lights go out.
