Laundry Fun!

We have no washer or dryer yet because we do not get our things until July 10th. So today we took everyone on an outing to the laundromat. Oh how I love laundry mats (insert sarcastic laughter). 6 loads later I really don't think the clothes are any cleaner but the have gone thru the "cleaning ritual" and we halfway paid for a new washing machine in quarters and I think that is as good as it is going to get! I will be so thankful in so many ways when we get our things :-)

Locked the restless kids in the car with Nanny. The fascination of the laundry mat wore off after about 5 min. 

We still have no Internet at home so that is why you get a short post and only a few pictures hopefully that will change soon and I will post more pictures of the end of out trip :-)

We made it!

Tonight we made it "home" with all our kiddos and dogs! Stay tune for more pictures. We came home to a thunderstorm :-)

The kids got to spend the last week with cousins, on Friday we headed back Peoria to hang out for a while and have a break from painting. We are getting broke in to mid-west heat and humidity.

We made it!

Well Wade, Kyle and I made it to Ohio on Sunday night. We got keys to the house Monday night and have been working since. We have made lots of trips to Lowe's. I am starting to recognize the employees and they see us and ask us how the painting is going. Don't worry someday we will have real friends :-)

My paint sample wall, funny story about that is I finally decided which one I liked and we got 5 gallons of it, we put about 2 gallons on the wall before I realized that I had not asked for the right color, but I really like the color we ended up with so it all worked out in the end :-) the moral of this story is I think we need more sleep

Kyle and his "rig" he loves to drive it around the empty living room. 

We will get the other 3 soon. It will be nice to be all together in our own house soon. Sounds like we will not get all our "stuff" for another 2-3 weeks, so it will be like Christmas when we finally get it ;-)

Still heading east

So we have stayed in Rock Springs Wyoming, Cheyenne, Wyoming, and now tonight we are in North Platte, Nebraska. We keep heading east, and the time changes are killing me, the kids have a hard time going to sleep but are still up bright and early. Enough whining here are some pictures of the last day or two. 

We stopped by Cabela's today in Sydney, Nebraska. They have a pond next to it and a big area to let the dogs run.  

Both dogs jumped right in and had a blast swimming. Who knew bulldogs where a water breed. It was fun to see the fish jump around them and Kinley trying to catch them. 

There where also tons of geese that started to swim over go us. The kids loved seeing the baby geese. We were bummed we had nothing to feed them. I think they were bummed too.

What a day! Better get to sleep so we can keeping heading east in the morning. 

On the road still.....

Our trek has taken us north to Idaho where we got to spend sometime with the Heath grandparents.  The kids had lots of fun, and so did Wade and I.
