Butterflies

We planted some native "milkweed" last summer and it came back huge this year. It has been really fun to watch the monarch butterflies, hoping we get to see the whole life cycle!

Double digits!

Life has been its crazy self for us and I have gotten behind on updates so here we go...
On July 22nd we celebrated 10 years of having Joshy! He is such a blessing, we love to watch him with his brother and their sweet friendship. We love that he loves The Lord and the fruit of that shows in his life. And boy can that boy build amazing things from Legos, mostly Star Wars creations lately.
Happy Birthday to Joshy!!!
Biscuits and gravy for breakfast
Then we had swim lessons and went to the Minons movie with friends, enjoyed cake in a park

 opening gifts!! New bike accessories

He picked Red Robin for dinner

He was so sweet and shared his sundae

He's 10 now. Where as the last 10 years gone???

Headed home

Kyle got his second infusion and they discharge him. Now we wait in line for his meds and then wait for Wade to come pick us up with the rest of our crew. We are happy to be going home.

Good Night!

After a room and floor change Kyle is getting his first infusion and getting ready for bed.

Back in the hospital

Well we got the call today that Kyle's bloodwork was low so we needed to go to the hospital and get an infusion tonight. So we picked up pizza for dinner, Wade from the station and headed to the hospital. We are very thankful that Wade was able to get the night off to help out with kiddos.

He always asks for the trains to play with.

Hanging out
Playing trains with our bellies full of pizza

I will send out an update when we get to go home.

Happy Independence Day America!!!

What have we been up to this week?
The city water guys can out to check out of water issues and they decided they needed to bring their boss, not sure if that is good or not but at least we are getting somewhere, they come out again Wednesday.
We have gone for lots of bike rides :-) Kyle likes to nap during them.
Thursday the kids and I went to the $4 theater and saw Inside out, it was very cute, and the kids LOVED the bottomless popcorn.
Yesterday we went to a friends house for a BBQ , the 3 big kids had a blast in their pool

Today we had a relaxing day at home. Kyle got sick right as we walked in the door for church, so we took him home and he took it easy today. By this evening he was eating a little bit and feeling better. We will get lab work done and call the MD in the Am.
The girls and I had a tea party
We had a yummy salad from the garden for lunch and we ended the night with a bike ride and Wade and I attempted to play a little tennis while the kids chased the balls for us.
I feel blessed to live in the land of the free because of the brave.
