Easter Celebrations

We had a busy and fun weekend celebrating Easter. Saturday morning we started off with bunny pancakes, yum!

Then later that afternoon we iced sugar cookies, Lucy piled the frosting on.

Josh is a good decorator

 Some of the finished product

Dad even got in on some of the icing action
Later we took the kids and "egged" a few friends, it was fun to see them hide the eggs and then scream and laugh running back to the car after we rang the door bell

Saturday night we had an egg hunt in the back yard, Dad went out and hid the eggs while we were gone. The kids had a blast searching for eggs. We sat Kyle down by some eggs and he had a great time checking them out.

Papa and Nanny and 4/6 of the grandkids
My Easter dinner had an animal theme, the kids liked the hard boiled egg chicks (a little morbid, but cute)

Easter baskets in the afternoon where very exciting!
 The girls got jewelry boxes
The boys checking out "boy stuff"
Hope you all had a very Happy Easter, and got to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus with friends or family. We had a great weekend. We are so blessed with all we have been given. Kyle is doing well he had a double ear infection two weeks ago that we opted to let him fight on his own with out the help of antibiotics and at his recheck today his ears were doing much better, they still had fluid, but did not look infected, so we are praising God that his immune system is working and fighting illnesses off in his body. Another praise we have with Kyle is that he is starting to enjoy more textures with food and is not gagging so much when he eats. He is eating and drinking and growing and we are sooooo happy! He is also cruising along the furniture like crazy and has figured out that he can also climb. Kyle's favorite thing to climb lately is the kids rocking chair, then he stands and rocks backwards, yes we put a stop to this quickly. But it is still good to see him doing things like that and learning about his world.
