Big Trucks and Science lessons

Last Saturday the city of Avon Lake had a "meet the big trucks" event that we attended. All the city's trucks and helicopters were out for the kids to climb in and learn about. The kids had a lot of fun.

The kids and I also went for a hike in the woods by our house last week for a little botany lesson. We did some leaf rubbings and tree identification. 

The kids like to check out the little monnows and creatures in the creek

The leaves are starting to change, fall is in the air.
