Today Josh had his last soccer game. It rained and was in the 40's, the weather is definitely changing. Yesterday we found a great deal on apples that were seconds, so today we made applesauce.

Our sauce was really red this year we used Empire, Cortland, and Fugi apples. The empires were the most red. We are learning about some new apple living way out east :-)

My new thing to try this year was spiced apples. I have made pie filling and canned it in the past but we though just spiced apples would be fun to try this year.
They look pretty. And taste pretty yummy!
Now it is off to bed :-)
