Happy Birthday Wade!!

Today is Wade's birthday and we are very thankful to have him home all weekend with us.
A little update on Kyle, yesterday afternoon I called Kyle's urologist to check on his ultrasound results because I was told we would have results the next day from the ultrasound people. It was probably good I checked because his urologist has been on maternity leave for a while and is off till the middle of June and I think Kyle's results where just sitting in space. I think her NP had put the order in, but I don't think anyone was linked to get the results. Anyway I talked to the nurse and she confirmed that Kyle does still have the hydrocele on both sides that is open and we need to surgically close it. We were told this was a possibility when we were first seen by a urologist about this issue at 5 months, but to be on the conservative side they told us we could just watch it till he was 1 1/2- 2 to see of it would close on its own. So they are going to connect us up with someone in the next week who can help fix the issue, either another urologist or surgeon. Please pray that God puts the right person to preform this procedure in our life.
But today we celebrated Wade and the wonderful Husband and Daddy that he is. The kids wanted to take him to doughnuts this morning for breakfast. Then we went and got compost from the city for our garden.
What a great guy to get me compost on his birthday.
Then we went to Lowes and got stuff for a raised bed, our soil is clay, like we could make pottery out of it clay, and rocks. I guess all of Avon Lake use to be in the lake, so we have lake bed soil.
Everyone enjoyed building
We even had neighbor kids helping
Kyle likes to do what Daddy does
We broke 2 shovels digging holes, Kyle thought they were perfect sized for him
The kids had made a piñata all by themselves for Wade so we watched them break it
For a blind fold they put a towel over their head, yes this was all their own doing and yes they are crazy
It was funny to watch and they had fun
To finish the day off we took Wade to ice cream! Yum! We have a local place that makes its own frozen custard :-)
Happy Birthday Wade, we love you!
